I am originally from the Hudson Valley in New York. I would love for you to check out my cousin's work on flickr - toyfoto is her name; aka Siobhan Connally. She is an avid and gifted photographer as well.

No need to tell you how stunning your work is!
I do want to comment however on your philosophical decision to do your photo enhancing on the front end of each shot, not before a monitor and Photoshop afterwards. I am brand new to photography, have no training, shoot images of pond life at a tiny pond near my home. My goal with each shot is to capture what nature presents. That's it. The action, the lighting, the mood, the habitat - just as the human eye sees it. While this is not exactly your goal, I appreciate an accomplished photographer who is not married to Photoshop and who uses raw talent and real camera skill to achieve a final image. Nice. Refreshing. And your work in brilliant.

I moved to NM many years ago but was born/raised in NJ. We visited PA many, many times over my 18 years there. Your photos brought back memories of growing up in the country, surrounded by small towns and farmland. I will be sure to revisit often to see new compositions. Take care

 Comments: A degenerative spinal condition has kept me pretty much house-bound the past 5 years, but I used to love to drive around aimlessly and hike. For me, Lehigh County from the crook of Hawk Mountain east to route 100 is one of the beautiful places on earth. I'm here in bed on this fantastic Memorial day afternoon, wishing that I could go and see something; thanks for taking me there.
